Frequently Asked Questions
Are vaccines required for service?
Yes, I require written proof of your dog's up-to-date rabies vaccine in the form of a rabies certificate.
Do you accept walk-ins?
I do not accept walk-ins due to the nature of the service I provide. All of my attention is given to the pet I am working with.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash or credit/debit cards. My card reader also accepts ApplePay and Android Pay for contactless payments.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes I am fully insured as well as an LLC. The grooming industry is an unregulated, unlicensed trade; all the more reason to check your groomer's education! I am a certified Professional Groomer and Stylist, Certified Canine Esthetician as well as certified in many breed standard trims, salon safety, canine CPR and First Aid as well as in Compassionate Touch Therapy.
Can I stay in the salon while my dog is being groomed?
No. It is a potential danger to your pet and myself. I ask that you leave the salon and I will call/text when it is time to pick up.
At what age should my dog start seeing a professional groomer?
For nail trims beginning at 10 weeks. It is essential to your dog's training and health that they are introduced to the grooming process as early as possible. I strongly recommend finding a groomer you would like to work with as soon as you put a deposit down on your new puppy.
Do you offer creative grooming services?
Yes! I am well educated in safe methods for adding color to your dog. I use pet-safe only dyes. I will not lighten dark coats so white/light coated dogs will show the best results. I also enjoy working Asian Fusion styles into my pet trims.
